Samsung may have several expensive digital cameras, but their latest product could provide a relief for the have-nots. The Samsung PL200 model comes with a 14.2-megapixel sensor, a 7x optical zoom, a 3-inch LCD screen at the back, 720p video recording, as well as dual optical and digital image stabilization. It also comes with “Smart Automatic Controls” that auto-selects the most appropriate mode and setting to come up with the best possible result. Other functions include “Beauty Shot” and “Smile Shot” modes, as well as blink detection and face detection.The Samsung PL200 will become available in September, costing US$179.99. It will come in black, silver, or red.
