Sony has discovered that several Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 units display a weaker coating adhesion on the lens cover of the camera. This has resulted in the possibility of a significant portion of the colour coating peeling off from the lens cover of affected units.

To ensure customer satisfaction, Sony will repair the DSC-TX5 lens cover for free if a significant portion of the coating has peeled off from the lens cover of your unit due to weaker coating adhesion. This free service will be available from February 24, 2011 till March 31, 2013.
