2011 Super Bowl Ticket Prices. The Super Bowl is the single greatest sporting event that any fan can aspire to attend. Being there is truly incredible and unlike anything you've ever experienced. I actually attended Super Bowl XLV in Miami last year, fulfilling a lifelong dream of mine.
The Super Bowl is more than a game, it’s more than a World Championship, it’s a full on NFL experience. Throughout the weekend there are pregame parties, concerts, and celebrity events that are geared toward entertaining the select few who are lucky enough to hold a ticket to the main event. There’s the NFL experience, which is part pro football carnival and part interactive punt, pass, and kick demonstration for fans and with photo ops, NFL artifacts and access to players, the NFL experience gets you as close to the game as you can possibly get.
The game itself is indescribable. You’re sitting there watching the game live, as most of the eyes of world are trained on their television sets as they sit in their living rooms. After attending the Super Bowl, going to an NFL game will never be the same. I highly recommend it.
2011 SUPER BOWL XLV PREVIEW:
The Green Bay Packers will be playing the Pittsburgh Steelers for the 2010-11 Super Bowl, which will be played in the Dallas Cowboys' Arlington, Texas-based Cowboys Stadium. The Steelers won their eighth AFC Championship by beating the NY Jets 24-19, and the Packers beat the Chicago Bears 21-14 to win their third NFC crown.
Green Bay had been a popular pick to go to this year’s Super Bowl coming in to the season, receiving adulation from both the media and odds-makers. Much of that had to do with last season’s emergence of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who has overcome the stigma of being “Brett Favre’s backup” to full-blown NFL star. Although he had a late-season blip due to a concussion, his final regular season stats – 3,922 yards and 28 touchdowns – survive as a testament how much he means to a team whose starting running back and tight end were lost for the season due to injury by week four. But with their top-notch receiving corps led by Greg Jennings and Donald Driver, and a tough, underappreciated defense led by Clay Matthews and Charles Woodson, helped create an atmosphere where Rodgers could shine. Now, he’s arrived on the big stage, only to find waiting for him one of the toughest and most storied franchises in NFL history.
To say that the Pittsburgh Steelers have been here already is an understatement. Their eight AFC crowns are the most in conference history, and this is their third Super Bowl appearance… in the past five years (they won both times, and six overall). Coach Mike Tomlin has created one of the most feared teams you can face – a stop-ranked defense with an offense that will not quit. When it was announced that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger would miss the first four games of the season, many believed they would stumble out of the game. Well, they went 3-1 behind the quarterback play of Charile Batch. That’s because their spread-it-around offense suited the team’s strengths and the defense did its job. Behind All-Pros Troy Polamalu and Jerome Harrison, the D ranked first against the run and 12th against the pass. Could this work against them against the Aaron Rodgers-led air attack? Last season the teams met and played in a 37-36 barn burning win by the Steelers. The winning play was a last-second catch from Roethlisberger to rising star Mike Wallace. So we guess we’ll just have to find out on February 6th, 2011.
